I love Vox...it helped me start blogging way back in 06. But I'm tired of the crap I get from them, tired of people adding me who are nothing but pervs and such. So, I have my own blog now. I'm in the process of moving my old blog posts from here to the new site and have a few new posts there as well.
I would love some comments and some followers, so please follow me to The Four Pates and bookmark it! :) Also, feel free to "share" the site with other blog readers who you think will get a kick out of my posts!
Thank you for the love I've gotten here. I will still read and comment on my 'hood, so you haven't gotten rid of me!
but let's blog! LOL! Seriously, I need to clean, pack and clean again. I need to pack some more then I need to re-pack the shit that my daughter will undoubtedly take out of the box. Then I need to find an insurance company that doesn't want to charge us an arm and a leg to insure our house. Too bad I got fired from my job, I could have great insurance at a pretty good price...but nooooooo I'm not a member anymore unless someone in my family was. I'm sure there is somewhere but dude I don't have time to find the "missing link" to membership.
Then I need to go to Walmart, I can't find my cell phone charger so it's dead and screaming at me. Really why do phones do that? They could save up all that energy they use beeping that they are going dead to stay alive a wee-bit longer. Oh and I need to take Hopie to the beauty shop, she's nasty. I also need to visit my local Home Depot or Lowes, I'm considering making my own desk...should be fun since I have NO power tools!
Ack, Vox just posted my post and I wasn't done! Anyway, with all this I have to do...I want to update my blog header...time for a change! LOL
Which is more important...blog header update or finding insurance so we can close in two days-ish?
YIP...blog header! Adios, time to be creative! BTW, enjoy my new calendar and walpaper!
I'm not normally a deep thinker, that doesn't mean I'm an airhead moron either. But sometimes deep thinking wears me out, especially after Halloween, candy and me and Kenna being sick...so here's a fun post I blog-lifted from Flighty Gypsy, a fellow Vox'er.
Instructions:
- Grab the nearest book. *
- Open the book to page 123.
- Find the fifth sentence.
- Post the text of the next three sentences on your blog along with these instructions
* 'nearest' means you can't rummage around for a 'cool' or 'intellectual' book. Really, whatever your hand falls on first. Let's hope it's not porn.
My nearest book is "Business Law Today"...what fun huh...
"For example, a statement that disparages the quality of a product may also, by implication, disparage the character of the person who would sell such a product. Slander of Title - When a publication denies or casts doubt on another's legal ownership of any property, and this results in financial loss to that property's owner, the tort of slander of title may exist. Usually, this is an intentional tort in which someone knowingly publishes an untrue statement about property with the intent of discouraging a third person from dealing with the person slandered."
Good God...that's a lengthy three sentences! Enjoy...and let me know if you add this to your blog, I want to read what is posted! :)
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm so totally glad to be back home I could wet myself. It's nice to be able to sleep in your own bed with your own pillows after 10 days away. It's wonderful to sit and veg and take a vacation after your vacation on your own couch. The happy licks of your excited Shih-Tzu greet you when you "rescue" her from the Vet's office (boarding place). So, yes, we're all very glad to be home. But...why is it when you do walk in the house your luggage stays in one spot for a few more days, only taking out the necessary items. Your homework is piling up since it's now mid-term week and your microecon grades suck. AND you now have all the work that you went to Vegas for piling up and being fed-ex'd from your sister...I feel overwhelmed.
The good thing is I have my follow up MFM today...something I've looked forward to since my first consult one month ago. Answers, finally...right?! Not really. I had a message, one of about 20 on the machine, from my doc, she politely said that they are still waiting on some of the blood work to come back and she now needs to run more tests on me when I come in today. Great...my mind started racing, what test(s) is/are missing?, what other tests is she going to run?, am I that messed up that these other tests didn't tell her enough?, will I ever have another healthy baby?, and why hasn't flo shown up yet this cycle? Oh so many questions and now I have to wait until 1 to get some answered then probably another month to find out more. I've said it before, I'm so not a patient person, so this is really hard for me.
I'll update when I get back from the aforementioned doc appt. It is nice to be home and back to my blog...I missed you all!
